August 22, 2019: "'I Need Help!' Social Class and Children's Help-Seeking in Elementary School."

In our lab meeting this week we discussed Calarco's (2011) longitudinal, ethnographic study of a socioeconomically diverse elementary school. In this study, she looked at the relationship between children's socioeconomic status and when and how they seek help in the classroom.
